Typically within two business days of receiving your questionnaire, we will email a proof of your personalized design. Be sure to check your email regularly, including your spam folder.

Let us know what changes you'd like to make to the art, and we will have a revised proof to you within 1-2 business days.

Once your art looks perfect, let us know that you approve it to be printed. We will begin production right away! Review our current production times for the most up to date information on printing and shipping timelines.

Please note, digital orders that don't require printing will arrive via email within one business day of approval.

Typically, art is received by the customer in 1-2 weeks. However, this is a personalized item, and times can vary widely from customer to customer, depending on desires and product choices. Here's a breakdown of typical timelines:

Initial Proof:  2 days after receiving questionnaire

After we receive your words for personalization, it takes us two business days to create a first proof of your art. We will send an email to the address provided once your custom word art design is ready to view.

Proof Revision: 1-2 days

If you request changes to your artwork, a revised proof will be ready for you within 1-2 business days.

Digital Downloads:  <1 day

A high resolution, printable JPG image is available to download within one business day of the design's approval.

Printing & Shipping:  3-6 days

After you have approved your art for printing, please allow 3-6 business days for the printing and delivery of your order within the USA. Please note, this estimate is based on typical timelines, and is not a guarantee of a specific delivery date.

Once your proof has received final approval from you, the production of printed items takes:

• 2-3 business days for framed prints
• 2-4 business days for gallery wrap canvases

A cancellation may be available if we have not yet started designing your art. Please contact us ASAP to determine what is possible for your order.

Once work on your order has begun, we are unable to process a cancellation.

By the time you receive your purchase, you will have already viewed and approved the custom word art design. Therefore, due to the personalized nature of our products, all sales are final. However, we stand behind the products we make. If there are any concerns with your purchase, or your print was damaged in transit, please drop us a note so we can make things right. Our Getting Started Questionnaire is designed to help gather the information we need to create your art, and provides space for you to list your words. Once you have chosen a design and placed your order, complete the questionnaire to provide your words.

We've created designs with less than 10 words, and others with hundreds of words. Our word art is very accommodating, and there’s not necessarily a magic number of words you should provide. Just send us what you have, and we will adjust font sizes or repeat words, if necessary, to fill the design.

Yes. We will provide you with a digital proof before printing the art. You will have the opportunity to review the design and request revisions. We will only print the art once you have approved the design.

Our personalized word art designs are not always a good fit for a literal family tree hierarchy, so we place words (names) randomly to maximize the aesthetics of the design.

Yes. Sometimes, if a design is not filled by the provided words, or has awkward empty spaces, we may repeat words for aesthetics. In some cases, we can add leaves to help fill the empty space, or you can provide additional words to include in the design.

To ensure your design is perfect, we provide unlimited revisions until the artwork is approved.

Yes! We have worked with some very tight turnarounds in the past to get these special gifts in the hands of recipients ASAP. If you need your order to be rushed, please let us know which item you plan to order, when you need to receive it, and where the item will be shipped. We'll check our current workload and let you know what rush options are available.

Paper and Ink

Prints are printed on premium acid-free photographic paper using archival quality inks that will resist fading for 100+ years. The subtly textured paper has a lustre/semi-matte finish and is renowned for its beautifully saturated colors, smooth gradients, and sharp text. View samples.

Frames

A variety of quality wood frames are available, white mat optional. Professional framing includes finishing with UV-resistant anti-glare glass, paper dust cover, and hanging hardware. View samples.

Canvases

The artwork is printed directly on archival-quality canvas and stretched across wooden bars for a modern, frameless presentation. Cleanly finished with backing, bumpers, and hanging hardware. View samples.

Digital prints are full-sized, high quality JPGs that correspond to the extra-large print size for the chosen design. They can be reduced to smaller sizes without compromising quality.

All digital prints come with a Limited Personal Use License that allows you to create small quantities (10 or fewer) of art prints for personal, non-commercial use. Please read the full terms of our License for Digital Designs for more information.
